Gameplay

Kaze and the Wild Masks is a 2D action platformer that heavily draws inspiration from the Donkey Kong Country trilogy on the SNES. The game also imitates other 90s classics such as Sonic the Hedgehog and even Mario to an extent.

Story

The game takes the player on a journey through the Crystal Islands, reminiscent of classic 90s platformer games. Kaze loses her friend Hogo to an evil curse in the opening cutscene, which causes chaos and spreads across the island. She takes on the responsibility of solving the mystery and saving her friend by progressing through more than 30 exclusive levels in the game. The primary objective is to dispel the curse, rescue Hogo, and restore peace to the Crystal Islands.
