Gameplay

In Slime Rancer, players will find themselves in an expansive open world, experiencing everything from a first-person perspective. Taking on the role of Beatrix LeBeau, a rancher who has made the bold move to a distant planet known as the Far Far Range, players will embark on a thrilling adventure as they become a “slime rancher”. This unique occupation involves not only creating and managing a ranch, but also exploring the captivating world of the Far Far Range, all while collecting, nurturing, feeding, and breeding slimes. These slimy creatures come in various sizes and possess different characteristics, adding to the excitement and diversity of the game. Throughout her journey, Beatrix will uncover helpful notes left behind by the previous ranch owner, guiding her progress and enhancing her experience in the Far Far Range. The primary focus is on the economic aspect of feeding slimes the right food to produce “plorts”.

Story

Slime Rancher tells the story of Beatrix LeBeau, a courageous rancher who embarks on a journey to the ‘Far, Far Range,’ a distant place a thousand light years away from Earth. There, she attempts to make a living by capturing and managing slimes.
