Gameplay

Teslagrad is a game that combines puzzle-solving and platforming with elements of action in a 2.5D format. The game heavily relies on the concept of magnetism and other electromagnetic powers to progress through the game and uncover the secrets hidden in the abandoned Tesla Tower. The game includes minimal combat along with challenging puzzle sections that require the use of electricity. The game is set in a non-linear steampunk-inspired world based on old Europe, with over a hundred hand-drawn environments.

In the game, the player takes charge of a juvenile male character who unexpectedly becomes entangled in an ancient plot that concerns the tyrannical ruler who has governed the country with a harsh regime for several years. Throughout the game’s progression, players can access several enhancements and objects.
