TOEM: A Photo Adventure is a game that focuses on photography and is created by Something We Made, an independent game studio from Sweden. The game was launched in September 2021 for Windows, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5.

Gameplay

Players will use their camera to solve puzzles and assist the locals, earning stamps along the way. They can ride buses to progress to new areas once they have enough stamps. Furthermore, players can customize the character’s outfits to their liking. The game is played from a top-down perspective, except when taking photos where it switches to a first-person view.

Story

In the game, the player takes on the role of a budding photographer who embarks on a journey to reach the top of a mountain and witness the incredible “Toem” phenomenon. Along the way, the player will explore various Scandinavian towns and cities where they will encounter non-playable characters (NPCs) who will seek their assistance.
